By breaking our own attendance record (again), opening the upper bowl and bring the energy to Canada Life Centre every night you proved that we have the best fans in the league. Everything we accomplished this season, we did TOGETHER.

Winnipeg, you've outdone yourself. Sea Bears Nation made history once again by attaining the second-highest attendance record in the CEBL (after our home opener on May 27). Our family day game was a huge win, both on and off the court.

07.11.23 | NATIONALLY TELEVISED RIVALRY GAME

TSN looks good on you, Winnipeg. Sea Bears fans showed out on the national stage with a sellout crowd in the third ever Battle of the Prairies. The offensive shootout came down to 'next shot wins.'

06.29.23 | SEA BEARS FAMILY

Winnipeg showed out for a nail-biting victory over the Niagara River Lions on June 29th. More than 4,400 fans proved their passion during the Thursday night game, a perfect example of the Sea Bears family created throughout this inaugural season.

06.23.23 | PLAYING SEA BEARS BASKETBALL

Winnipeg surged back into sole possession of first place on June 23rd when they hosted prairie rival, the Saskatchewan Rattlers, at Canada Life Centre.

06.21.23 | CELEBRATING NATIONAL INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DAY

Winnipeg came together to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day with breathtaking performances from Evander Twoheart and the Buffalo Red Thunder Drummers. The team saw a hero performance from guard Glen Yang to defeat the Vancouver Bandits for the third time this season.

06.15.23 | SEIZING FIRST & ANOTHER TEDDY ALLEN RECORD TIE

Winnipeg established itself as a threat across the nation, moving up to first in the league with a commanding victory over the defending CEBL champions. Star Teddy Allen established a second league record tie in the excitement of the evening.

06.12.23 | CELEBRATING PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY

Winnipeg came together to mark Philippine Independence Day with basketball, food, music and dance. The game held far greater significance than stats would show.

05.27.23 | HOME OPENER

With more than 7,300 fans in attendance at our home opener, Winnipeg made history for the largest crowd in CEBL history. The city started something special from Day One. The storybook night featured a fairytale ending that electrified Canada Life Centre.
