Sea Bears announce renewed radio partnership with 680 CJOB for 2025

WINNIPEG –  The Winnipeg Sea Bears and 680 CJOB, Winnipeg’s news and information leader, announced Wednesday a continued partnership to broadcast select games during the 2025 season. This continued partnership will bring more games than ever before, starting with the Sea Bears' home opener on May 16, 680 CJOB will bring fans live coverage of several exciting games throughout the season.


680 CJOB will broadcast a total of 14 games for the 2025 season, including both home and away match-ups. The full broadcast schedule is as follows:

  • Wednesday, May 28 vs Vancouver Bandits
  • Wednesday, June 11 vs Montreal Alliance

  • Tuesday, July 1 @ Ottawa BlackJacks
  • Thursday, July 17 vs Calgary Surge
  • Friday, July 25 vs Edmonton Stingers
  • Sunday, July 27 @ Calgary Surge
  • Wednesday, August 6 vs Saskatchewan Rattlers
  • Friday, August 8 vs Brampton Honey Badgers
  • Friday, August 22 - Eastern / Western Conference Finals
  • Sunday, August 24 - CEBL Championship Game

About the Winnipeg Sea Bears

The Winnipeg Sea Bears joined the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) as an expansion franchise in 2023. The city's only professional basketball team plays out of Canada Life Centre from May to August in a 24-game regular season schedule. About the CEBL

A league created by Canadians for Canadians with a mission to develop Canadian players, coaches, sports executives, and referees, the CEBL boasts the highest percentage of Canadian players of any pro league in the country with 75% of its rosters being Canadian and a record 12 players with NBA experience in 2024. Players also bring experience from the NBA G League, top international pro leagues, the Canadian National team program, NCAA programs, as well as U SPORTS and CCAA.
